We should mention about the upset which took place in Jindrichuv Hradec, whereChomutov lost to J.Hradec in a road game 66-80 . J.Hradec forced 21 Chomutov turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Chomutov 's players. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Jaron Fairweather (191-2001, college: Eastern) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 9 rebounds. Swingman Marek Zvolanek (201-2006) contributed with 14 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Four J.Hradec players scored in double figures. J.Hradec's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Forward Tomas Blazek (201-2003) answered with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 17 rebounds and center Ondrej Kovar (204-2001) added 17 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Chomutov.
